Unnsteinn Árnason is an Icelandic bass opera singer with many performances across Europe. He has appeared with leading opera houses and opera festivals, including the Zurich Opera, Salzburg festspiele, and Bregenzer festspiele.
A graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Unnsteinn has been recognized as Most Promising Young Singer at the 2019 Austrian Music Awards and won the "Young Soloists" competition in Iceland, performing with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. His notable roles include Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, and Lothario in Mignon.
Unnsteinn is also one of the founders of the Icelandic Chamber Opera (Kammeróperan).
